Tuesday’s Trust - Like a Tree Planted by the Water…

“The Y” is where Merry Katherine, Rollin, and Nathan in their teenaged years loved to tube down the river with their friends.

Tuesday’s Trust

Like a Tree Planted by the Water…

But blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord;

whose confidence is in Him.

He will be like a tree planted by the water

that sends out its roots by the stream.

It does not fear when heat comes;

its leaves are always green.

It has no worries in a year of drought

and never fails to bear fruit.

~Jeremiah 17:7-8 NIV

This beautiful scene is of the Middle Prong of the Little River, Tennessee about forty miles outside of Knoxville in the Great Smoky Mountains Park. The confluence of the Middle Prong and the West Prong of the Little River is otherwise familiarly known as “The Y” located right between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

May our confidence and trust in the Lord even through the death of our precious child, like the tree planted by the water, so, ever remain steadfast,
